New 2022 VW T2 AMBIENC3 Concept, Specs, Review, Redesign – It’s not common for suppliers to get much attention. But, Continental is making headlines with the AMBIENC3 concept.
2022 VW T2 AMBIENC3 Concept
The concept was unveiled at the Munich Motor Show. It is based on Volkswagen T2 and comes equipped with the most innovative and sustainable materials, as well as the most recent technologies. The futuristic interior was designed for autonomous driving and allows people to relax or work inside. The cockpit features a minimalist design with a rectangular steering wheel and digital instrument cluster. It also has a digital rearview reflector that provides 360° views of the surrounding area.
Redesign
The dashboard is made of wood and the seat has “staying” technology. This technology is low-cost, environmentally friendly and resists dirt and stains. The cockpit has “no visible controls.” They are hidden under surfaces and illuminate when the vehicle’s in use, similar to the Nissan Ariya.
Specs
A lounge-like bench is also available with a marble-esque back. This concept also includes an elegant chair, which is made of wood and has an integrated armrest. The SMEG coffee machine and Ac2ated Sound system, which is speakerless, are some of the highlights.

Continental did not provide any details, but the concept features a roof-mounted solar array and an “intelligent control with adjustable dimming or heating functions.” eTravel.Companion is also available to users. This app-based feature provides “interactive, personalized support throughout the journey with tips, recommendations, and refueling information.”
