2022 Lucid Gravity Electric SUV : What We Know So Far

2022 Lucid Gravity Electric SUV – The company isn’t content to launch a new EV with over 1,000 horsepower and an estimated EPA range of over 500 miles. The rogue geniuses of Lucid Motors are cooking up an SUV that is brand new, because obviously, they do in the market today, and they should offer one.

There isn’t much official information available at the moment, other than these two important points First, the Gravity is wider in appearance and is higher than the Lucid Air sedan, however, it’ll be on the same skateboard with a stretched-wheelbase platform. Therefore, the length of the SUV/CUV will be nearly identical. (Perhaps someone whispered to us it’s possible that Gravity is just a little less than one inch (15 millimeters) larger than the Air, but who’s to judge?) The second reason is that VP of Design Derek Jenkins is an off-roading enthusiast who has constructed a hot-rod VW-powered dune buggy So it’s safe to believe that the Gravity will sport an impressive off-road ability.

In the well-lit teaser images, Lucid released the grille, as well as the rear end, are hidden. It’s certain that the front of the car will be the exact (or at least close enough) lighting signature as the Air. If you’re creating a brand new brand, all vehicles have to be similar or at the very least, design teams believe they will. It’s likely that the intake openings of the Gravity at the front will be bigger in comparison to those found on Air in part because of the weight that’s around the front of the snout. Additionally, the fact that an SUV is heavier and definitely blockier than a regular sedan means the motors will require more cooling in order to function more efficiently. It’s also possible that the enormous chunk of glass that forms the roof and windshield is taken over from the Air however we anticipate seeing, like in the Air the metal roof could also be offered.

It’s also difficult to see what’s happening outback, but the huge open clamshell that’s seen on the Air could be a great feature to use across the entire lineup, redesigned to be more of an opening for the trunk lid, to an opening. Since the Gravity draws heavily from the Air and the world’s biggest taillight is likely to make appearances here. You can be able to see it in hidden photos. But it is worth noting that the Gravity is anticipated to be larger than Air and therefore, perhaps the single-piece taillight will get larger? We’ll see.

Specs

Let’s now look at what we can look at: Look at those big Fenders! The Air comes with 285-width tires. The fenders appear to be larger–we’ll say 325. In this way, the gravity’s metal has expanded. It appears tough particularly due to the (probably) plastic fender that is clad. This is what makes the Gravity appearance much more muscular than slim Air.

Powertrain

The powertrains will be the same with dual motors that will produce 1,080 horsepower when they first go on sale with the tri-motor and single motor versions being added later. All are powered by a battery pack of 113 kWh. But, an SUV needs to be more rugged than an automobile. Much like the Air it is the Gravity should come with air suspension and similar to Range Rovers thus equipped, it should have an adjustable suspension for maximum effect away from the pavement. Think of increased clearance on the ground at the push of a button. We’re aware that Jenkins has the Range Rover, which works exactly like that.

2022 Lucid Gravity Electric SUV Feature

One of the coolest features is that the A-pillars appear to fall into the hood’s flat appearance. It’s an interesting, utilitarian design, and aids in highlighting another Lucid design element massive roof decoration. We really like the way C-pillars are incorporated into the body’s Gravity The C-pillar is the sole flaw in this design. The reality is that fastbacks that have hatches instead of trunks often have sloppy, broken C-pillars (looking at Cadillac CT5). This one looks sleek and well-integrated. We’ll assume the wheels and mirrors are just concept-car/prototype fluff and discount those as items that won’t reach production exactly as shown here. Then, there’s a box for travel on the roof but not the battery for backup. There’s no word on when Gravity is due to drop (zing! ) However, we are interested.
